INITIATION: The Color of UCS - The Paradigm

posted to Bridge-L on September 29, 1996.

Hi Bruce, Christine, Samantha et all,

I am amazed following your very energetic discussions in the last couple of weeks. I am lagging behind, since I don’t have the speed you guys are running. I need more time to read and write, due to my language handicap. English is my third (or even fourth) language.

However, I still feel compelled to contribute and share some of my thought, which I hope could be of some value.

1. THE PARADIGM SHIFT

In the pre-Copernican era, we used to believe that our Earth is the center of the Universe. It is so real, since we can see the Sun, the Moon and all the stars are rising from the East and sets in the West as if they are revolving around our Earth. It took us hundreds of years to finally accept the new concept of reality, where our Earth is not any more the center of the Universe, but just a tiny and insignificant speck in the vast Universe.

Nothing has changed as far as our physical perceptions is concerned. The Sun, the Moon and all the stars are still rising in the East and sets in the West. But our awareness has changed dramatically.

In the post-Newtonian era, we believe in the atomistic and mechanistic nature of our cosmos, where atoms are considered as the basic building blocks of our Universe, and things comprises of their parts, which in turn comprises of their smaller parts and so on, until ultimately we arrived at the indivisible atoms.

One and a half century ago, a new scientific revolution has started with the discovery of the electromagnetic fields, waves and vibrations. At the turn of the century, Einstein came up with his famous formula E = m.c^2 , which states that matter is nothing but a form of condensed energy.

Despite of some disagreements amongst our Physicists, we nowadays are witnessing the emergence of a new paradigm, where the Universe is no longer considered as a collection of objects, but as an inseparable web of vibrating energy pattern. So, basically the whole Universe is One, indivisible.

To make this new paradigm more imaginable, we could take a look and observe the nature of radio waves or light as a comparison (though not 100% adequate). Therefore, I personally would like call it 'THE LIGHT PARADIGM'

2. THE INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW PARADIGM

We are now at a transition period, and it is not expected that every one will accept the new concept of reality or the light paradigm just like that.

Many has been ridiculed, punished and even killed in trying to disproved the Geocentric system during the Copernican revolution. And it is natural if the introduction of the new paradigm will face some resistance.

But, this time the resistance will mostly come from within ourselves.

We live in a world of duality, in the polarization of good vs. bad, light vs. darkness, right vs. wrong, me vs. not-me, us vs. not-us, Self vs. Non-Self etc.

This concept is so deeply ingrained in us for millennia. It’s in our genetic codes since the first human being on Earth, and I tend to believe that this is what we call our original sin.

IMHO, our original sin is not the act of Adam & Eve eating the apple in the garden of Eden, but the fact that they became Self-conscious (felt naked) and became aware of what is good and what is bad, the first realization of the concept of duality.

The new light paradigm will bring us into the realm of One-ness, to realize and be aware that we are all ONE.

Nothing will change on our physical level. And our physical sense data will still create the impression that we are separate from each others. But that is our physical perceptions, as we are still perceiving the Sun, the Moon and all the stars are revolving around our globe.

Our awareness is the key factor for us to leap into the realm of One-ness.

In the realm of One-ness, we will realize that;

Every “I” is the same “I” which is the Cosmic “I”.
The only difference is the Subject patterns held as point of
reference to experience other patterns, the Object.
Due to Subject / Object polarization the Subject patterns
identify itself as “I am”, having the impression of being
separated from the rest of the Cosmos, which is it’s illusion.

3. UNITY IN THE OLD AND IN THE NEW PARADIGM

In the old paradigm, unification of anything denotes a certain denomination, a group of people having something in common as their basis to come together. It can be their type of job (Labor Union), their religion and beliefs, race or gender (feminist) or even their world-view.

It reflects polarization’s, i.e. Labor Union vs. Employers, feminist vs. masculinist(?), non-denominative vs. any other denominations etc.

In the new light paradigm, One-ness is like the unification of all colored light into white light. (Unity in diversity?) In this concept, we are not looking for something to agree on (common ground) but trying to embrace everything including those we have nothing in common. We don’t even have to agree to disagree.

Once we leaped into the realm of One-ness, we are aware that anybody or anything else are part of ourselves irrespective of what’s their view, opinion, beliefs or actions.

If we are part of a body, i.e. a right hand, we should not try to make our left hand or even our feet to function as a right hand (as ourselves).

Instead of enforcing something we should agree upon, we ought to celebrate our differences.

Instead of controlling, we ought to empower others to grow. Not our way, but each their own individual way.

I hope, THE COLOR OF UCS will be WHITE LIGHT, which comprises of ALL different colored light.

in LIGHT + LOVE

Pramana
